About Anderson
Emily Anderson earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fresno, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. With years of clinical experience, she has worked with diverse populations in private practice, community clinics, and school-based settings.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. She is deeply committed to helping clients develop emotional resilience, build healthier relationships, and reconnect with their strengths.
In addition to her clinical work, Emily regularly attends continuing education trainings and mental health conferences to stay informed on the latest therapeutic tools and best practices.
